Borsht (veal and beet soup with dollop of sour cream for garnish, lower left, 385 rubles), pelmeni ( Russian ravioli in sour cream horseradish sauce, upper left, 518 rubles), chicken caesar salad, 497 rubles), two 25 cl. bottles of Coke Light, 140 rubles each).
The borsht was great (as always… I love the stuff); in deference to my low carb eating plan I removed the pasta from the pelmeni and ate the little meatballs inside with the sour cream sauce. They were delicious.
The prices are scandalous and it KILLS me to pay it… rubles are 23 to 1 US dollar. You figure it out.
