Budget Racer with Attitude
Paddy has spent the last couple of years piecing together this old skool Toyota Celica, powered by a mildly tweaked 350 chev. The car was built on a low budget, and it shows that you don’t need truck loads of cash to put together a fun and effective race car. While STM doesn’t normally have much to do with the older V8 engines, we got involved because Paddy saw the sense in fitting fuel injection to the engine. The Link G3 ECU works in conjunction with a multi-port injection manifold to give the kind of tuneability that could only be dreamt of with a carburettor. The end result was a stout 240 kw atw, and bucket loads of torque. We wish Paddy all the best for his competition debut in the car.
