Clamped w/ bar clamps, also screwed the long sides down, since they’re not supported by the threaded rods. Screw heads to be capped by dowels. So, there are now 5 woods in this table: redwood (old deck salvage), oak (old barn salvage), douglas fir (salvaged from inside a wall in my house), cedar (store-bought, for prettiness), and poplar (i.e. the dowel rod).
