Plan of the church of St. John the Baptist , Weston Beggard , Herefordshire, www.flickr.com/gp/52219527@N00/1oN452 built of local sandstone, stands in the south east part of the parish, hiding down a farm track and behind some farm sheds.
The north wall of the nave, chancel-arch and south doorway ave date from about 1200.
The chancel was largely re-built and probably lengthened and the south porch added early in the 14c; later in the same century the three stage west tower was added.
The church was restored in 1881 when the south wall of the nave was re-built;
