I have designed a 2in1 structure for the boat. I prepared 4 pieces of iroko for the purposes to hold flat things e.g. A4 folders, books, notebooks, laptops between the frames of the ceiling, and secondly, to make it more practical, I shaped the inner wood to form a top-handle in front of the entrance of the boat. The outer wood is painted with primer, then white, the handle was too nice to cover it, I varnished that one. This helps to get in and out easily even if the sea or the wind is moody and boat is moving like madness 😀
