Given the fussiness involved in turning the knobs on the bungee lathe, I decided to try out my little micro-lathe on the job once I’d whittled my blanks down to a size that would fit on it. Turned out to be way easier, given how sharp I’d gotten my tools to work on the bungee lathe. Went pretty quickly, and left a nice surface.
