I’ve just about used up all the smaller pieces of wood I’ve had lying around in my experiments with the bowl from a board technique. This one has pieces of maple, walnut, mahogany, oak, cherry, pine and poplar. I’m learning a lot without jeopardizing any better wood. I think my next effort will have a more clearly defined pattern and maybe I’ll even be able to bypass many of the abundant flaws evident in this one. It’s 8 1/8" (20.6 cm) in diameter and 5 3/4" (14.6 cm) tall.
