My garage is cluttered.
I ran through some test pieces to test the depth and width of the cuts. I was getting some frustrating results with changing depth and at first I thought the bit was backing out or climbing up the spindle, not uncommon if you’ve haven’t tightened the spindle.
Turns out that wasn’t the case. My out of the box cheap router table had warped at some point, and was no longer level. This is frustrating.
As an aside, I easily spent about half the time on this project trying to find tools. It turns out this is the first project I’ve started since I moved into this house, 3 years ago.
