Fireplace and mantle-shelf unit

A recent project.
I had to install a fireplace, make a mantle-shelf combo, some façade details and a shelf for the instillation.
Beside the design and woodwork, this project required 2 additional electrical circuits to be run to the living room. A 20 Amp dedicated circuit for the fireplace and a 15 Amp circuit for additional power were required.
I tapped into the power panel and ran the circuits through the basement and then the crawl space. Came up through the floor and then into a wall space near where the instillation was to be.
The wood used was Maple Veneer multi layer plywood, to which edge banding veneer needed to be applied after cutting to size. The stiffening skirt- rib on the façade and shelf was planed to size from Maple Plank I had in supply. Underneath the shelf there is a stiffening rib added to assure against any sag or bow.
The mantle-shelf rests on top of the fireplace assembly. The mantle-shelf then continues to the left where it is supported by a leg that extends to the floor.
The shelving unit, with vertical posts and open sides, is seen sitting on the top LH side of the mantle-shelf.
The center vertical legs are thinner than the two at either end. The inner ends of the shelves are held by two supports, the thinner ones, because two are present. The outer supports are the heavier legs, because each shelf gets only one support there. These shelves were made to a design my wife liked,
Edge banding veneer was applied to sides of the shelf unit to finish the edges.
Both assemblies, the mantle and shelves were then finished with a dark–reddish antique stain, followed with several coats of polyurethane varnish,
