St Botolph, Shingham, Norfolk

A delightful little church in the agricultural landscape between Downham Market and Swaffham. It fell into disuse in the early 20th Century and was abandoned and roofless for many years. Eventually it was saved by the Mason family, tenants of the land on which the church sits. A fine Norman south doorway and an enchanting interior of old wood, brick and stone.
