Before I started work on this pot I drew up a plan with measurements for each segment and the overall size and whatnot. It was going to be a vase and it looked pretty good on paper but when I finished it off it was about the clunkiest piece I’d ever done so I reworked it into this pot which I’m reasonably pleased with. Birdseye and curly maple, walnut, oak and mahogany. 15" diameter x 6-1/8" high (38cm x 15.5cm).
