18-year-old Jan Mohammad is very popular at the centre. He used to work as a garbage picker. Then he worked in a depot. Now he works with a caretaker in the satellite town. He is learning carpentry at the centre. His two brothers who used to be garbage pickers are now in school at the centre. His father used to be a daily labourer but he doesnât work anymore. Jan is the only bread earner of the family. He earns around 15000 PKR per month. He lives in Jungle Bagh. Quetta, Pakistan. February 24, 2012.
