These are turned from canary wood, a species I’d never worked with before or even heard of. It’s moderately hard and dense and has the most brilliant color and grain imaginable. It is native to Central America and the northern part of South America. The plate is 11-3/16" diameter (28.3cm) and the bowl is 7-3/16" dia x 4-1/2" high (18.3cm x 11.4cm).
