And after all the sawing, here’s my little lumberyard. My first (and possibly only) project with this wood is to make a cool little bow-chaser 24-pounder cannon, at about 1/72 scale. I’ll turn the big block into the barrel (note the X on the end to mark the center for mounting on the lathe), and the planks will go into the gun carriage.
