Some quick pics of my workbench. I built is about a month ago with mostly scraps. I purchased the pegboard, drawer rails, and one 2×4. The rest of the boards were left overs from previous projects or scraps.
Every dimension (except the height of the counter) was dictated by the length of what was available. It ended up about 6′ wide and almost 3′. deep.
