This is a prisoner of war hut.
Used during the second world war to house German & Italian soldiers so they could work the fields around East Lothian.
Some friends and myself rescued the old hut and made it in to a big boys hangout / gang hut.
The small shed with the round window is actually an outside toilet. In side we have a real wood burning stove / fire, a bar, fitted kitchen and a games room with a television for sports.
There are 6 bunk beds all hand made and a very comfortable 3 piece suite.
The grass is a bit over grown but we plan on sorting this out and painting the place up a bit over the next week or so.
