Here’s the frame for my workbench. It’s all 2×4 construction, fastened by wood glue and screws. I ended up using more wood than i had originally planned on (the front two horizontal boards weren’t in the plans), but i figured the extra weight and stability couldn’t hurt. They aren’t pictured here, but the stars of this show were a pair of clamps. if you’re gonna glue, investing in a couple clamps is a must (believe me, I’ve also tried gluing stuff together without them! Ugh!).
