It’s been a fun project, and I’m really happy with the size. The 8" fruit hopper holds about 50 apples worth of pumace, which is a good size for small batches of cider, and the whole thing is small enough that one person can [almost] carry the entire thing. It’ll also be convenient being able to shred the fruit straight into the hopper, and slide it under the upper plate, rather than having to transfer it into the hopper.
