FAUN was built by the Blanchard Boat Company in Seattle and launched in 1926. She is a member of the Pacific Northwest Fleet of the Classic Yacht Association (CYA).
The Classic Yacht Association was organized to promote and encourage the preservation, restoration and maintenance of fine old power driven pleasure craft. Additional objectives of the Association are to promote, sponsor, and develop yachting activities for the Association and to cultivate a spirit of friendship among the members.
Members, who range from owners in their twenties to those in their nineties are always willing to talk to members of the public about their boats.
