Here goes…. well I’ve done a couple of smaller ones before but I made a couple of mistakes on these. On the first one I didn’t take the advice of using your nearest chisel size as the width of your mortice/tenon. This made it difficult because I had to make two cuts down the thin side and I couldn’t use the chisel to measure the width of the mortise, as a result I took too much wood out. I don’t think they are going to be very tight fitting. Bummer. I’ll just have to see how it goes.
