A chair made for the First Class Reading & Writing Room of the RMS "Britannic". With the ship requisitioned for war use, the chair was either removed or never fitted. However, it was later taken from store and installed on the RMS "Olympic". The wooden parts retain traces of the green paint inflicted on much of Olympic’s woodwork during 1932/33 in a misguided attempt to make her look less old fashioned. 24th November 2016.
