Can you guess why it got it’s name ?
This is a bowl I made on a wood lathe out of Eucalyptus wood. The wood was turned "wet" i.e. from a freshly cut tree & then as the wood dries out, the wood warps ‘cos the wood at the core of the tree is denser & shrinks less. This is why floorboards warp, or logs get cracks as they season.
It is only about 4 inches across and mostly about 2mm thick.
