This is a close up of my small tool chest that I made based on an eighteenth centry English tool chest design. Traditionally the outsides are pretty plain to take the knocks of life in a workshop, but the insides advertise the maker’s skills. My design features in inner leaf which folds forward. Behind the picture of a New England scene which was painted by my mother, saws can be stored.
