Decorating the "Indian chief" wooden chair I’ve already posted a photo of, there’s this owl. It’s actually a recurring theme of this park: one finds wooden sculptures of animals (presumably inhabiting the park) along the outer trail, the easier, kids-friendly one close to the parking lot and other facilities.
Another big wooden owl sculpture welcomes the hikers just at the "main entrance" of the park: I have a photo that I will post here soon.
For this one, I’ve tried to throw the background out as much as possible, shooting wide open. I probably lost a tad of sharpness, but this is still pretty good and I’m happy with the performance of the lens at this aperture and the rendition of the wood, with its characteristic texture, is good. Any defects are rather to be blamed on my ability (or lack thereof)
