UN Broken Chair is a wooden sculpture located in the public square across the Palace of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

It symbolizes the despair and dignity of armed violence victims and aims to remind the obligation of states to protect and help victims.

Designed by Daniel Berset and constructed by Louis Genève, the chair is 12m high and made of 5.5 tons of wood.

The Palace of Nations/Palais des Nations is the home of the United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland. Built between 1929 and 1938 as the headquarters of the League of Nations, it has served as the home of the UN Office at Geneva since 1946.
