I am a woodworker and I reproduce period furniture for a living. Most of what I build are reproductions of 18th and 19th century English, French, Italian and American pieces.
This particular carving that I’m working on is going to be used on a ten foot tall French corner cabinet along with some other carvings.
Can anyone tell me what this popular design is called………..in French? And spelling counts!
