This is the table for my bench lathe prior to pouring epoxy onto the surface. The top is made from 6 hardwood planks joined together using dowel pins. The planks were then belt-sanded flat, and the gaps between them filled with water-based wood filler. Then, the filler was sanded back to a relatively fine finish with ~120 grit sandpaper on a random-orbit sander.
