There is a planning notice on a lamp post telling us that the cladding will be removed from this building.
After Grenfell, I knew that there were four buildings in the borough with similar cladding but the council wasn’t telling which ones. The tall one on the Uxbridge Road is now completely covered in scaffolding as it is one of those four.
So where are the other two?
And has that number grown as Ealing has been very keen to approve tall buildings since then (2017)? And the past two-three years have revealed that a number of residential buildings in London have inadequate fire stopping.
