Don’t know why the centre class 66, ‘Shed’, appears to be producing a large puther of the blue stuff and the shot after this the cloud had got much bigger, maybe someone has a fire going to make toasted sandwiches, it is lunchtime after all! The speed limit on the track around the curve is 20m.p.h. and I guess there may well be a slower restriction over the work in hand. There are materials, concrete sleepers and new curved rail section, lying about the place so the comment in the last shot about renewals may not be too far off in the future. Unfortunately no named locos here as 66616 gets the trio away 10 minutes early on the 0Z09, Sheffield Midland to Hope Earles Sidings route learning and possible loco drop off. Today the working ran but seemingly got ‘cancelled by the customer’ this morning at 11:33, at the same time and location as on this day, Wednesday 26th. I believe 66616 was on the working on its own today and there’s no indication why it was cancelled though the time table indicates, ‘Planned to terminate at Hope (Earles Sidings) Fhh’, but didn’t get that far.
