Table I made using some discarded 2 x 5. It’s a mousepad mostly. I don’t use a desk. I prefer my chair so I have put together a table that will allow me to lay things on it and have plenty of room for the mouse while allowing me to rest my arm comfortably. 26" high, 20"across the top and 18" down the side with a 10" x 8" indent for the arm of the chair
…at least that was the intention…the measurements may have varied. It was my first use of some of the tools I got for Christmas. Before this, I have made some attempts using materials available to me. I put some shelves in the garage and they’re pretty strong *hoping*. I also made an entertainment center a few years ago (few = 9) out of an old waterbed frame, using a handsaw, about 10 screws and probably 300 nails. =) Say what you will, but it held and it was sturdy! =)
