Where Most Of The Debris Ended Up...

The room formerly known as my sister’s room when she lived here. It’s the spare room, the guest room, the room where I’ve assembled costumes, and the occasional overflow or continuation of my room. If I could do it, I’d break down the common closet wall between both rooms.

Great, now I have another room full of crap to go through. (and yes, some of my new acquisitions – books, other cameras, etc.) are in there.

Oh, yeah – that nifty blue-gray desk? My dad made it for me when I was 7 years old. It was the desk that was in my room, where I put my toys and paper and pens and crayons and other stuff. I treasure it dearly. I re-lined the insides of the drawers. I even stripped the paint off and repainted it twice. I am not giving up that desk. It is a one-of-a-kind heirloom. I just wish I had some of my dad’s woodworking and cabinetry/shelving construction skills. I’d like to custom-design a shelving system for my room, and make better use of the space that I have.

I may not have a grand collection of stuff, but I’d like to have a place for it all, perhaps a place to show it off.
