I was inspired and thought I’d try making a Rugged King Size Pallet Headboard. I’ve always enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. One day, I caught a glimpse of some pictures on social media and thought, "I can do that." So, I set out to collect some wooden pallets. I brought home about six pallets, but they weren’t all the same size. I still figured that would be okay.
Rustic and budget-friendly way to decorate your bedroom or guest room!
Breaking down the pallets wasn’t much fun because I didn’t have all the proper tools. However, I completed the task despite the inconvenience! I got up on a sunny Saturday morning, ate a quick breakfast and headed outside to my small, but useful shop. I had wood all over the place by the time my wife came outside to see what I was up to. She asked what I was doing, and I just replied, "Making you something." I could hear the wheels spinning in her head as she tried to figure it out. Long story short; after a few hours, and no cuts, scrapes or bruises. I had completed my task! My wife and I now have this simple, rustic, and downright impressive, king size pallet bed headboard!

I’m excited to say I am now back to enjoying my hobby and really thinking about making it a business. I love working with my hands, and building furniture is a new direction for me. I’ll share more of what I have built later but let’s just say; they keep getting better! Thanks for reading and enjoy the pics.
