Built a drying box for a friend to use in producing dry plates. Got the outside finished, but still waiting on the rack I ordered to use inside as a shelf. Once that’s here, I can finish it and figure out how to get it to him in a socially-distant way…

This is the second one I’ve built. It’s an improvement over the first one in various ways. I’m second-guessing one decision — I used 1/2" ply in an attempt to lighten it given its size (it needs to accommodate multiple racks of 8×10 plates). I wanted to use 5/8", but the big box store (only thing open in March when I went shopping just before everything was really locked down) was all out. I’m happy enough with how the weight turned out, but it has a slight tendency to wrack, whereas I generally like to overbuild things. That said, it’s sturdy enough, and should work fine.
