Next I applied a couple of coats of boiled linseed oil with a mixture of TransTint dyes added for color. This is the first time I’ve used this technique and it worked well on the mahogany. The linseed oil takes a couple of days to dry and was then scuff sanded with 300 grit sandpaper. Dings and glonks remain unfilled.
