The ‘Daigle House’, is an abandoned house between Iron Bridge and Blind River, Ontario on Highway 17. It is approximately 5 kilometres east of Iron Bridge on the Mississagi River. The house was built by Alexander Daigle, from France, in the 1870’s. Daigle was one of the first settlers in the Iron Bridge area. The house, as seen, is in a state of advanced decay and has been heavily vandalized through out the years.
