Today the Baiyin Non-ferrous Metals Company only uses a couple of SY 2-8-2s for its reduced steam rosters but there were 4 of the larger JS 2-8-2s dumped around the site. This one is 8021, built in the later 1980s, but unless a lot of rebuilding is planned I don’t think it will be steaming again. It is alongside the Locomotive Works – one of erecting sheds can be seen beyond.
