The Great Central plans to restart limited services from 25th July but 10 years ago on the same date it was all go on shed at Loughborough. I was prepping (I was actually pulling coal down at this point) Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48305 while Pete was wiping down the boiler. In front N2 0-6-2T 1744 was also raising steam.
