This footstool was based off of a design found in Fine Woodworking. The 10 degree splayed legs presented a formidible joinery challenge for the through-tenons in both the leg/stretcher joints and the leg/top joints. It was a fun project partly because it required so much hand tool work. I also love a challenge, or maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment! The finish is miniwax wipe-on poly.
