Over the past couple of months, I’ve been slowly clearing layers of projects off of my garage workbench. This mobile base for the drill press is the last layer! Workbench is now clear for the first time since… Oh man, the newspapers laid out are from 2006! I stopped work when I needed J’s help; but she was pregnant with L. Little did I guess that it’d be years before I could get back to it after L was born! PS – It’s a Rocker power tool mobile base. Building a stable platform for the drill press to sit on took most of the time, but I’d still say the mobile base is more trouble than it’s worth.
