After a mainly cloudy, then milky day, the skies finally started to clear in the afternoon, and I had planned on getting 4M88 then 4M87 from a local location, a spot which runs through farmland owned by a farmer who has now taken a dislike to photographers due to some dirty bastards leaving their litter in his fields, and trampling over his crops. Upon arrival to my chosen location, my luck was out, as said farmer was in the fields, and working within 15 yards of where I intended setting up!!! A change of plan, and off to Watford village. Sadly, the Skoda on 4M88 passed just before I could get my equipment ready. I wasn`t too bothered though, as I`d have another go for a Skoda, or better still, maybe a pair of 86`s on 4M87 Felixstowe-Trafford Park just 15 minutes later. I was gutted when I could hear a shed coming, and sadly, 66954 proved to be the only train shot in the sun today……. 18th July 2014.
