Here Greg is removing more inside material of the third bowl. A few minutes later, he quit the turning and is storing the bowl under darkness and constant humidity ( a card board box in the shop).
Normally Greg prefers full "Green" wood, especially it’s been cut in winter after the sap has fallen. These Osage Oragne tree blovk were a sort of hybrid, having been bull dozed during the late winter of 2006, but simply left whole as other pasture fencing and watering was being done.
