not rusty

I discovered that my depth micrometer set, kept in the garage, had rusted. I dropped what I was doing to see what I could do. Luckily, the ‘business ends’ of the shafts were not rusted at all, and I just needed to clean up the worst of it. I spun the shafts in a drill while holding a Dremel tool fitted with a Scotchbrite-like cleaning bit against the metal. Decent results, and the mikes can be used once again.

This is the "after" shot. Shiny!
