All is going to plan as Al takes British Railways Standard 2 2-6-0 78018 up the hill from Rothley with the 15.30 ex-Loughborough to Leicester. This was our only trip of the day and on returning to Loughborough we put the stock into the Up Through and ran on shed to dispose.
It was 30C outside but unfortunately a photo can’t capture the temperature on the footplate!
