I had a few dollhouse goals this summer….
1. Finish the molding in this attic
2. Complete the exterior of my dollhouse (add molding, finish front door, complete shingling dormers, brick the chimney and foundation, fix front steps)
3. Add door knobs to all interior and exterior doors.
4. Build an 18th century walk in fireplace for the kitchen with a beehive oven and crane for holding a pot
I’ve completed goals 1-3 and I am working on the fourth.
I used a wonderful cutting tool that easily cuts 45 degree angles. Cuts wood trim like butter. Very accurate. I have 2 of these and this smaller one is far superior to my larger one. They sell this one at AC Moore. It is better than Hobby Lobby’s. This cutting tool is better on bass than balsa. I use a small saw or X acto knife for balsa.
