The original plan was for the Newcastle to Crewe leg of the 1Z07 08:33 Newcastle to Basingstoke ‘The Absent Shunter’ GBRf Charity Rail Tour to be powered by a Colas 47/7, but this seems to be fallen by the wayside. Instead, 66762 was the grunt at the front, and should have made short work of the sub-500 ton load.
