Sorry all, more stars again – a lot sooner than I’d planned too!
I was organised today and got my image early of a a very rough English Channel. But when I got it on the computer I didnt like it at all. Thanks to the tip off from LED Eddie that despite the rubbish weather during the day today, it would be clearing later and good for some trails, I took a look outside a little after 8pm and sure enough it was crystal clear!
So, whilst dinner was finishing cooking I set the camera up in the back garden looking up to Polaris through the branches of the old beech tree which has now shed all but the most persistent leaves. I set the trail off and left it running for a little under two hours – the longest trail I have ever done and waited with excitement as i watched StarStax work its magic before my eyes!
Really pleased with this one and looking forward to what will hopefully be some more clear nights later in the week.
