Stichting DE-III had zijn DE-3 / Plan U 115 naar Zutphen verkast om daar een aantal werkzaamheden te verrichten die in Amersfoort niet mogelijk waren. Na een paar dagen klussen komt het stel deze vrijdagavond weer terug naar Amersfoort – mooi weer dus maar even op pad gegaan.
Plan U 115 van Stichting DE-III komt rustig langs industrieterrein Harselaar-West bij Barneveld gereden, iets voor op schema, op weg van Zutphen naar Amersfoort.

Trust DE-III, named after the Diesel Electric DMU Plan U of Dutch Railways NS, ownes plan U nr 115 which is in the process of being restored – it already has permission to ride the rails in the Netherlands but restoration is still in progress. Normally this is done at home base Stable Yard "Bokkeduinen" near Amersfoort on line Amersfoort-Utrecht, but for certain reparations a more capable shed has to be used – this was found in Zutphen and the unit was there for a couple of days this week.
The return trip was friday evening, nice weather so lets get it on chip 😉
DE-III Plan U 115 passes at ease the outskirts of an industrial area near Barneveld, ahead on schedule, on its way from Zutphen to Amersfoort .
