I’m completing an order for wooden toy swords out in my workshop. If you look closely in the upper right portion of this photo, you’ll see trails of all the wood chips flying off my router as I round over the edges of the swords’ handle guards.
A photo like this is about as close to "me" as I’d be able to put in a picture, since it captures so much about what I enjoy: making something of my own design with my hands, making something for somebody who’s requested my services, the relative peace and comfort of being in my surroundings, and working / playing at my own pace.
