I glued up "plates", consisting of strips of Purple Heart, Almond, Kamani, Palmwood, Cherry, Walnut, White Oak, Red Oak, Maple, Australian Pine, Douglas Fir, Yellow Pine, and Pondarosa Pine. I then sanded the plate faces smooth and true, glued them up in a criss-cross manner (like Plywood), cut out the round blank, and I am turning the "Multicultural" bowl here on the Lathe.
