A naked 100 watt incandescent bulb – (you struggle to find them these days).
Now my shed is a bit crowded that meant to stand in the middle I had to stand right next to the light; a bit too bright for my right eye.
First it was incandescent bulbs – now – Sales of halogen lightbulbs are to be banned in the UK from September, with fluorescent lights to follow, under government climate change plans.
For a shed where the light is on for maybe 5 minutes a week on average this means that a replacement LED bulk will set me back about- well I was going to say about £10 but on checking I notice all the LED bulbs at my local supermarket have gone down in price and have a special offer to save even more if you spend £40 on electrical goods. The government must be pushing people to switch over.
